CAUTION: This 20 minutes is not a sales pitch. It is an actual working session. You will practice your Elevator Pitch. You will improve your Elevator Pitch. Your new improved Elevator Pitch will generate more qualified leads at tonight's networking event.
And that's just the beginning. Because once you experience the power of our proprietary process, you'll want to take the next step and develop your full Four Sentence Elevator Pitch.
Don't believe us?
Don't take our word for it.
Here's what other people just like you have said about our proprietary 2.5 hour Elevator Pitch Workshop:
When was the last time your Elevator Pitch won an award?
"I was most impressed when I received the Best 60 Second Commercial award at my very 1st meeting inducted into the Methuen Loop BNI chapter." Kathy Wentworth, Leader Bank
Kathy learned a simple technique that engages her prospects and gets them thinking. That's why she won the award, and more importantly, that's how she wins business.
Are you cramming all your expertise into your elevator pitch?
"In just two hours, [ImprovAndy] condensed my 8 years of real estate expertise into four sentences that get my prospect's attention, show how easy it is to do business with me, and call my prospect to action." Tamela Roche, Coldwell Banker
Tamela learned that the elevator pitch is like a cover letter for a resume: its only purpose is to intrigue someone into wanting to know more about you.
What business conversations are you starting?
"I used to dread having to tell people what I do. My words were jumbled and all over the place and my elevator pitch stopped conversations dead in the water." Nancy Carbonaro, Carbonaro Photography
In a minute I'll let Nancy tell you how she now uses her Elevator Pitch to start business conversations.
My name is Andrew Winig, and as an engineer on the trade show floor I discovered the secret to an effective elevator pitch.
(HINT: It had nothing to do with my expertise, intelligence or product knowledge)
We'll get to that secret in a minute. First I want to share how I learned what I now know:
Several years ago I was prepping Tamela to create a video commercial for her business.
I thought I was offering presentation skills training.
I was really helping her clarify her message.
We discovered the real reason that people sign up with her.
(HINT: It wasn't why either of us thought.)
That's the cool part about this work.
Using my proven process, it only takes 2.5 hours to distill your years of experience into 4 compelling sentences.
Here's our proven process:
1. You fill out a 5 question worksheet
2. We have our first 60 minute phone session
3. You do some homework
4. We have our second 60 minute phone session a week later
Easy enough.
Here are more details:
You start off filling out our 5 question worksheet. We want your first impressions. The first thing that comes to mind. That's all the preparation that's required for you to achieve our extraordinary results.
Then during our first session we ask you questions. Lots of questions. We keep you talking as we come up with several specific examples of the great work you do for your customers. We encourage you to put it in their words, not yours.
You have homework between sessions. You try out elements of your new and improved Elevator Pitch with a variety of prospects and in a variety of networking situations. You figure out what works and you become more comfortable with engaging prospects rather than talking at them.
At our second session, we polish and practice. We figure out the four sentences and then we practice, and practice, and practice.
The bonus, two weeks after your second session, you get a 30 minute phone call with me to review how your elevator pitch is working. We celebrate the conversations you have started, and we further improve your elevator pitch based on what you have learned from your prospects.
There's another bonus?
Yes, for a limited time, signing up for the Elevator Pitch Workshop gets you free admission to one of my upcoming Leadership Lunch Webinars. 37 minutes. 3 practical tips you can use today.
